"Eclipse"
As the moon eclipsed the sun,
in its rare and beautiful transit,
through the midnight sky,
we watched, eyes heavenward,
in appreciation of its simple beauty.
A connection, soon to eclipse,
all that we have known.
A love that completes, transcends, endures.
A sharing of thoughts, bringing deeper understanding,
a love whose warmth shines so bright, all else pales in comparison.
A love so powerful, so generous, it leaves no room for doubt.
As the eclipse completes its passing,
the sky returns to its normal celestial order,
though in the memory of those brief magical hours,
we see what can be,
and we wait in that suspended space of time,
where our hands meet, and we stare heavenward together.
A simple touch, a deepened longing, a knowing smile,
as the heart eclipses the soul.

Wonderful animation, fantastic! "Fire and Ice" is one of Frost's works that I committed to memory sometime in my ancient past. To give you some notion of how ancient, my copy of a Frost compilation is dog-eared, and its binding is falling apart.
