The Pier

As I dived off the pier into the cool lagoon in search of the buried treasure (as indicated by the map given to me by my islander friends), the late evening sunlight glimmered across the sheer, calm surface of the lagoon, as the cascading light, colors and shadows, created a mesmerising magic show, just for my viewing pleasure.

I was so spellbound, I almost forgot to rise up to the surface to catch a breath of air.
